When you compose an email, you can enable the ‘Ask Receipt’ feature from the more options. When the recipient receives the email, if the email service and the email client support the Read Receipt feature, the recipient will receive your ‘Read Receipt’ notification. If the recipient accepts to send the ‘Read Receipt’, you will receive a notification when the email is read
