Build vs. Run
Every client need falls into one of two modes. The mode determines how work is priced, planned, and delivered — and together they give you both new capability and a system that keeps getting better.
Creating Something New
A defined deliverable — a new CRM configuration, API integration, automation, dashboard, portal, or data migration. It has a beginning, middle, and end.
Priced in Units — a fixed-price measure of output, agreed before work begins. From $350/Unit.
Advancing the System
Proactive advisory, planning, platform management, monitoring, optimization, and strategic guidance that keep your system aligned to the business as it evolves.
Flat-rate monthly program (Advance Continuous). $1,428–$3,850+/month by tier.
We don’t bill by the hour. We price by the deliverable and by the program — so you always know what you’re paying before we start, and budget risk is ours to manage, not yours.
Why Things Take the Time They Take
Nobody — Enable included — knows what’s inside a system until someone looks. Optimistic quoting without discovery is how projects blow past their estimates. The honest response is scoped discovery first, not a guess dressed up as a timeline.
We don’t guess. Anything uncertain gets scoped in a fixed-fee discovery step before you commit a dollar to build.
The Engagement Ladder
The ladder is a spine with lanes — not a staircase you must climb one step at a time. Most new clients enter through Advance Launch: the first three rungs, one contract, twelve months.
First half: project delivery with gates. Transition to Continuous is signed at day one, not renegotiated at month six. Second half: quarterly Continuous billing while the system stays in motion.
Named programs for specific needs — Call Capture, SOP Guided Advisory, Digital Transformation Advisory, UCaaS, and more. They can join the spine at any point; they are not a later rung you must wait for.
Composer of last resort — compose exactly the engagement from the service catalog when standard Launch, Continuous, or Specialty shapes do not fit. Never the standard motion: if every client got it, it wouldn’t be custom. Service catalog →
When a Scope Is Ready — Two Paths
When a scope is ready, you choose — take the blueprint and build it with any team, or approve the Sprint and we build it. Both are good outcomes.
Take the blueprint
You receive a complete, buildable scope package — requirements, design, and Enable’s build budget attached. Build it with your team, another partner, or come back to us later.
Clean exit. No hostage scoping. The relationship continues on your terms.
Approve the Sprint — we build it
You approve a fixed Unit batch in writing. Enable executes the Sprint under the governance cadence, delivers for acceptance, then scopes what’s next.
Same starting point. Either path begins from a scope you can understand before a dollar of build is spent.
Both paths end the same way: the work stays mapped under the relationship. You buy the next thing when the next thing is ready — never before.
Our Scope Commitment
Scope discipline is a client-facing promise, not an internal policy:
Every scope decision is logged — what was approved, when, and by whom — so the record is shared, not tribal.
Any work that would fall outside approved scope triggers written notice within 48 hours. No silent expansion.
Ideas that surface mid-Sprint are captured, reviewed at the next planning session, and converted to future Sprints when prioritized.
Advance Launch — How Most New Clients Engage
Advance Launch is the flagship new-client program: Discovery, Project Sprints, and Advance Continuous bundled into one 12-month contract. The Continuous transition is signed at day one — not proposed at month six.
First half runs as a strict project — SOW, staged milestone payments, delivery gates. Second half bills quarterly as Advance Continuous while Sprints continue on a planned cadence. That is the glide path productized: upfront deliverables, then ongoing partnership, without a second sale at month six.
Project Sprints — How Build Work Executes
- Sprint size: a fixed batch of deliverables — typically 20 Units, about two weeks of production; the SOW documents your Sprint structure.
- Budget approval: you approve each Sprint budget in writing before work begins — no exceptions.
- Parking Lot: ideas that surface mid-Sprint are captured, reviewed at the next planning session, and converted to future Sprints when prioritized.
- 30-day correction window: each deliverable includes a 30-day correction period for issues within the approved scope.
- Standalone Projects: single-phase engagements at the same Unit pricing; deposit to open, balance staged to the delivery schedule in your SOW.
Service Levels & Response
Your response tier is set by your Advance Continuous program. All SLA clocks run Monday–Friday, 9 AM–6 PM Eastern; items submitted outside hours queue for the next business day.
| Tier | Applies To | Response |
|---|---|---|
| High | Orchestrated | 4-hour initial response |
| Priority | Advisory | 2–24 business hours |
| Standard | Active | 4–48 business hours |
| Advisory / Strategic | All tiers | Next scheduled session |
Governance & Communication
| Cadence | Frequency | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Delivery Check-In | Weekly / bi-weekly | Sprint progress, blockers, decisions |
| Sprint Review & Planning | Every 2 weeks | Accept deliverables, scope next Sprint |
| Quarterly Business Review | Quarterly | Roadmap, performance, planning |
| Executive Summary | Monthly | Status and outcomes for leadership |
Every scope decision is logged. Any work outside approved scope triggers written notice within 48 hours. Sprint scope and budget are approved by your project lead; new engagements or tier changes by your executive sponsor.
Creative Solutioning & Design
We bring creative and design capability to every engagement — not as an add-on, but as part of how we build:
- UX-led configuration — layouts and interfaces designed for adoption, not just function
- Brand-aligned custom pages — portals, microsites, and proposal assets built to your visual identity
- AI-augmented design workflow — faster iteration and consistent visual quality
- Zoho Creator & custom app UI — purpose-built interfaces for workflows standard apps don’t address
AI-Augmented Delivery
Our delivery stack is AI-augmented at every stage — part of why our Unit rates deliver more value per dollar than traditional hourly consulting.
| Stage | Approach | Outcome |
|---|---|---|
| Discovery & planning | Transcript intelligence + architecture tooling | Weeks of planning compressed into days |
| Scoping & SOW | AI-assisted scope extraction and drafting | Accurate, consistent SOWs faster |
| Build execution | AI-assisted development | Senior-level output from a lean team |
| Communication | AI-assisted briefing and follow-up | You’re always informed; no dropped balls |
Payment & Engagement Terms
- New clients: 50% on proposal acceptance, remainder as milestone payments defined in the SOW.
- Existing clients: standard Sprint terms — 50% at kickoff, 50% on delivery.
- Advance Continuous: annual commitment billed quarterly in advance; annual prepay saves ~10%.
- System Architecture Audit: 100% at kickoff, fixed price confirmed at scoping.
- Methods: Check, ACH, or wire transfer (3–4% fee for credit card).
Onboarding & First 90 Days
| Phase | Timeline | What Happens |
|---|---|---|
| Discovery & Scoping | Weeks 1–2 | Stakeholder interviews, scope definition, SOW approval |
| Kickoff | Weeks 2–3 | Team intros, access, environment setup, Sprint 1 launch |
| Sprint Execution | Weeks 3–12 | Active build, weekly check-ins, bi-weekly reviews |
| Adoption & Go-Live | Months 3–5 | UAT, training, go-live, 30-day correction window |
| Advance Continuous | Months 4–5 | We propose the right ongoing program |
Clients entering Advance Continuous directly — without a preceding project — begin with a one-time System Architecture Audit ($5,000–$10,000, scoped per environment) so we have the operating knowledge to manage your system responsibly.
